Celeste and Brody

I'd like you to meet Celeste and Brody.  They will be married this summer on June 12th.  We did their engagement session yesterday in the Warehouse District, and we had so much fun!  My watch has been broken, so when it ended I couldn't believe how long we ended up shooting.  We played around for a little while by the Riverwalk while we were waiting for the street car though, which took up some of the time.  I'm very glad they agreed to wait because my favorite shot of the day was from the ride.  They were such a blast to work with.  Thanks you guys, and have fun at your engagement party!!

I love the Porsche in the background!

Cassie and Addie

As I mentioned in the previous post, I had the pleasure of shooting Cassie and Addie's weddings.  Cassie and Ben were married on November 29, and Addie and David were married January 16.  They were all wonderful to work with, and I feel like an extended family member now!  :)  Below are some pictures from the bridal session we did with both of the ladies.  Their mom wanted a few of both of them together, and the weather rained out the dates a few times.  So Cassie's happened after her wedding, but we were able to do the shoot just before Addie's date.  We did the session in Thibodaux at the Rienzi Plantation and St. Joseph's Cathedral, and finished up at their parent's house.

New Year, New Resolutions!

Hello again, and Happy New Year!
I'm sorry I've been gone for awhile.  It's a new year, and I'm making it a resolution to do better with updates.  I've had much to show recently, it's just a matter of getting it up here for you to see.  I just shot Addie's wedding this past Friday, and I shot her sister's wedding the end of November!  They were both wonderful to work with -- the whole family was.  I'm looking forward to getting some images posted from those very soon.  I even was able to shoot a couple of bridals with both of them together.  That was a lot of fun!
And just an update on the outcome of the first package giveaway contest -- admittedly it was a bit of a bust.  I did have one entry, but it was out of state, so I was unable to do anything with it at this time except offer a discount.  Maybe the holiday season just wasn't the best time to offer it.  I hope to try again at a later date.
I will be posting pictures soon, I hope before the end of the week.  Thank you for your patience as I make the blog part of my routine.
